Vidsy Pipes 0.9.0 makes automation easier, improves video handling, and makes connection detection more reliable in day-to-day use.

Highlights​

  • Use App Control to trigger actions in another Windows app when events are detected.
  • Run the new engine for better performance and support for newer GPU cards.
  • Add MPEG videos and have them converted automatically so they are ready to play and process.
  • Get more reliable connection detection, including better handling when a connection breaks or lines up correctly.
  • Save master projects as reusable templates that are easier to share.

Workflow & Data Handling​

  • Imported images are now copied into the project so your datasets stay portable if folders move.
  • MPEG videos are converted to MP4 when added to bundles so they are ready to use right away.
  • Copy selected boxes to another index and paste them as cropped images with category mapping.
  • Show ROI labels inside boxes with configurable placement and displayed values.
  • Active log events now update immediately in the UI.

App Control​

  • App Control can automate actions in an external Windows application based on detected events.
  • Trigger App Control manually from the camera view or by using a global hotkey.
  • If the target window is missing, App Control can recover and help you choose the right window.

Models & Training​

  • Use the new engine for better compatibility with newer GPU cards.
  • Configure training patience directly in the UI.
  • Training now catches more setup issues before runtime.
  • Classification models can be used as identification sources without extra duplicate runs.

Connections​

  • Connection detection is more stable during video and camera processing.
  • The system can now detect when a connection is broken.
  • It can also detect when a connection is positioned correctly for a report image.
